Around 1934, some villagers from a hamlet were possessed by イズナ an Izuna pipe fox.
They were brought to a priest in 軽米 Karumai hamlet.
But this priest was also possessed and driven out of the hamlet.
Finally a priest who had trained at 安養寺 the Temple Anyo-Ji in 二戸 Nihone could drive the fox out.

川にすむカジカの頭には両目の間に鱗形の斑紋があるという。隣村である蜷川村 Hirukawa village 出生の伊勢新九郎が安養寺に伝わる最明寺 Temple Saimyo-Ji 時頼の遺物鱗形の系図を継承して北条氏を冐したという。
